In the last few days, I've been writing about my favorite technique in life: ultralearning.

Here, I wanna share with you 4 cool projects that you can start in 2024.

I hope you find these ideas helpful and inspiring to start your first or a new ultra-learning project.

4. Photography and Video Editing

Learn how to take and how to use software to edit both photos and videos.

This is an actual project that I'm working on.

Nowadays, having these skills is a must if you are or wanna be a content creator.

Additionally, you can work as a freelancer editing photos and videos and make decent money!

In Coursera you can take some basic courses for free:

But I found the best ones on YouTube, especially to learn about how to use Da Vinci Resolve and Adobe Photoshop.

Tip: the key to learn a new tool is to create a roadmap.

First, learn how to learn the topic you wanna master.

3. Learn a New Language

Learning a new language is fun.

And the best part is that there are tons of resources to learn any language you want for free!

First, look up how the language is learned through prestigious institutions and build a step-by-step with the topics you need to master a language.

In my case, learning German in 2 months was my first ultralearning project.

I used an app (not Duolingo) and books and tests by Goethe Institute to go from 0 to B1 in just 2 months.

If you're interested in this project, you may find useful this article I wrote:

So find a language, prepare a roadmap, and be consistent to study every day or week at the time you prefer.

In a couple of months, you can be fluent!

2. Learn Data Science and Machine Learning

Data Science and Machine Learning are 2 of the hottest topics to learn nowadays.

And it's also the best time to learn them.

The number of resources to study these topics is increasing every day, with free courses from top companies in the world, like Google, IBM, or Meta.

My recommendation is to go to Coursera and look up DeepLearning.AI:

They have arguably the best courses to learn the machine and deep learning.

If you wanna start with Data Analysis, I would recommend Google's Data Analysis Professional Certificate:

The information is there! Just organize yourself and go for it!

1. Learn a Degree

Finally, we can take ultralearning to an extreme and try to learn a whole degree.

Perhaps you will not find all the resources for a particular degree, but you can still study a lot!

The first step will be to look at how the degree is structured.

Make a roadmap with all the courses you need to take from years 1 to 4. Use the official curriculum from prestigious universities.

For computer science, Open Source Society University (OSSU) has made an entire curriculum to learn this degree from 0:

MIT University also has tons of free resources:

Additionally, you can check recorded lectures on YouTube:

The possibilities to learn a degree at your own pace and whenever you want are infinite.

The best part?

You're saving a lot of money and time.

Conclusion

Ultralearning was never so easy.

Thanks to all the free and great resources we have on the internet, we can learn and master almost any topic for free and at our own pace.

I hope these 4 ideas were inspiring for you to start your first or a new ultralearning project.

But always remember to take care of yourself.

Everyone has a different life and a different pace.

This is not a competition for who can learn more or faster.

This is about having fun while learning.

Good luck!
